Styrene is an important raw material in UPR industry, because having the double effect of dilute and cross-linking, styrene still is the active monomer with the big dosage in not saturated polyester and vinyl colophony at present, occupy the 30%~50% of colophony quality normally. However the normal temperature vapour pressure of styrene is higher, easy volatilize.
